How payment works on this site, what we can see, and what we cannot.
This site has an online checkout
You buy directly here: add items to the cart, go to checkout, and pay. There is no quote request step and no invoice sent by email. Payment is processed by PayPal.
Accepted payment methods
- PayPal balance or a bank account linked to PayPal
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
A PayPal account is not required. On the PayPal page, choose “Debit or Credit Card” to pay as a guest.
Where your card details go
Card details are entered on PayPal’s own pages, not on craftandloom.com. This site never receives, processes or stores a card number, expiry date or security code. What we receive back from PayPal is the transaction status, the amount, your name, your shipping address and your email address — enough to make and send your order, and nothing more.
Currency
All prices are in USD. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee. That fee is your bank’s, not ours, and we do not receive any part of it.
When you are charged
Immediately, at the moment you complete payment on PayPal. Nothing is pre-authorised and held.
Sales tax and VAT
No sales tax or VAT is added at checkout. Craft and Loom is a sole trader below the registration threshold and is not registered for VAT or GST.
Import duty
Depending on where your order is dispatched from, your country may charge import duty, tax or a customs handling fee. Any such charge is set by your customs authority, is not collected by us, and is the responsibility of the buyer. If duty applies to your order we will say so on the product page before you pay.
If a payment fails
Nothing is charged and nothing is reserved. Try again, try a different card, or email ngotuan0784@gmail.com and we will help. A failed payment does not hold your item — stock is only reserved once payment completes.
The PayPal window may be in your language
PayPal chooses its interface language from the location of the person paying. This is PayPal’s behaviour and cannot be overridden from our side. The amount and the currency are unaffected.
Disputes
If something has gone wrong, please email us first — most problems are solved in a day. You also retain every right PayPal’s Purchase Protection gives you, and nothing on this page limits it.
